The Armed Forces and Reserve Forces (Compensation Scheme) (Amendment) Order 2025

- Citation and commencement This Order may be cited as the Armed Forces and Reserve Forces (Compensation Scheme) (Amendment) Order 2025 and comes into force on 7th April 2025.

- Amendment of Schedule 3 (1) Schedule 3 (the tariff and supplementary awards), Part 1 (descriptors, tariff levels and amounts – “the tariff”) is amended as follows. (2) In Table 2 (injury, wounds and scarring)— (a) after item 64, insert— 64A. 14. Overuse injury of the larynx, causing functional limitation or restriction, requiring or expected to require operative treatment.
This article adds a new entry to Schedule 3, Table 2.
It permanently includes compensation for overuse injuries of the larynx that cause functional limitations and require surgery.
